On August 15, 2024, at the St. Petersburg Diocesan Administration Metropolitan Barsonofiy of St. Petersburg and Ladoga and Chairman of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society (IPPO) S.V. Stepashin signed an agreement on cooperation.

In 2023-2024, the IPPO Pilgrimage Section organized several group and individual trips: 156 people visited churches and monasteries of the St. Petersburg and Tikhvin dioceses. A trip to the City on the Neva, Alexander-Svirsky Monastery and Staroladozhsk monasteries is scheduled for October this year.

It is planned to develop new pilgrimage routes, publish materials on pilgrimage, and improve the qualifications of Orthodox Christians.
