The Catholicos of All Armenians received the newly ordained priests who had undergone a forty-day preparation period

Karekin the Second Catholicos of All Armenians received St. Garegin the Second Catholicos of All Armenians, who were newly ordained and consecrated at the Mother Church of Grigor Lusavorich and underwent a forty-day preparatory period in the Mother See under the guidance of His Eminence Fr. Musegh Bishop Babayan, Director of the Administrative and Economic Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

His Holiness, conveying his fatherly blessing to the priest fathers, called upon the latter to carry out their ministry in accordance with the Gospel commandments and messages, to be guided by the example of our holy fathers.


The Armenian bishop also emphasized that the newly ordained fathers will face many difficulties and trials in their ministry, but with firm faith in God, selfless service, prudence and patience they will be able to overcome them, making their spiritual service in the sanctuary effective.


In conclusion, His Holiness urged the clergy to be steadfast and firm in their vocation, to serve the flock of believers with hope, faith, love and devotion.
