On June 19, H.H. Karekin, the Second Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received in Holy Etchmiadzin the members of the administrative-district council of the Armenian community of the Beyoglu district of the Armenian Patriarchate of Istanbul, accompanied by His Holiness T. Reverend Harutyun Tamatyan, the spiritual leader of the Armenian churches of the Beyoglu district, and Axel Topalyan, the chairman of the district council.

At the meeting, His Holiness, after introducing the pilgrims to His Holiness, conveyed information about the activities of the Armenian community of Istanbul's Beyoğlu district.
Blessing the Armenian pilgrims, the Armenian Patriarch spoke with satisfaction about the strong faith, devotion to service, ecclesiasticism and unconditional love for the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin of the Armenian community in Poland. On this occasion, His Holiness called upon the Polish-Armenian pilgrims to strengthen their faith in God, love for Mother Church and preserve the consciousness of national identity with the same zeal.
