The Catholicos of All Armenians received the head of the Austrian Diocese of Graz-Zezkau and pilgrims

On April 14, H.H. Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians received at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Austrian pilgrims led by Bishop Wilhelm Krautweschl, head of the Diocese of Graz-Sieckau, Austria, and accompanied by the Pontifical Delegate of Central Europe and Sweden, His Eminence Fr. Bishop Petrosyan of Tyre.


The Catholicos of All Armenians, touching upon the problems the Armenian people are currently facing, expressed his gratitude to the authorities and people of Austria for their support to Armenia.


His Holiness conveyed his blessing to the pilgrims, noting their visit to Armenia and Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin as another evidence of solidarity.


In turn, His Eminence Bishop Wilhelm confirmed that he visited Armenia and Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin as a pilgrimage to express his solidarity with the Armenian people and Church and his support for the Armenians of Artsakh.
