The Serbian Orthodox Church invites all those who wish to participate in the Day of the Savior procession on June 13, 2024, the Feast of the Ascension of the Lord, to gather from 18:00 on Kralja Milana Street, near the Belgrade Assembly, and to obey the instructions of the organizer on the spot.
The program stipulates that the liturgy will begin from the Church of the Ascension at 19:00 on Kralja Milan Street to Slavija Square, where His Holiness Patriarch of Serbia Mr. Porphyrios will read the Holy Gospel and consecrate the streets of the capital. Then the liturgy, led by the ark with the relics of St. Justin of Celia and the miracle-working icon of the Sign of the Mother of God, will cross Liberation Boulevard to the St. Sava Memorial Shrine, where, after a sermon to His Holiness the Patriarch, an akathist will be served to St. Justin of Celia, and the shrines will be presented to the faithful for adoration and kissing.
