Anniversary of the devastating earthquake in Antioch

His Eminence Bishop of Yerapolsk and Vicar of the Patriarch Mr.. Arsenios celebrated the Holy Liturgy at the ruins of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Antioch on February 6, 2024, on the occasion of the anniversary of the devastating earthquake in the Iskenderun region. At the conclusion of the Holy Liturgy, Bishop Arseny conveyed to the faithful a message of love, prayers and condolences from His Beatitude Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Msgr. Jovan and then prayed at the local cemetery for the repose of the souls of all those who perished in the earthquake. This was followed by a visit to the restored ancient church of St. Peter the Apostle, where Bishop Arseny and officials took part in its opening after restoration.
