Finisage of the exposition "The Royal Family: Love and Mercy" was held at the Museum and Exhibition Center in Zarechny

On April 18, 2024 in the exhibition hall of the Museum and Exhibition Center of the city of Zarechny took place the finish of the exhibition "The Royal Family: Love and Mercy", dedicated to the preservation of traditional family values on the example of the family of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II, reports the Information Department of the Penza Diocese.

Finisage - a new popular art-format - is the last day of the exhibition, on which its closing is held in a solemn atmosphere.



The creators of the exposition conducted the last tour of the exhibition.


Usually the finisage is timed to coincide with an important event.


This event was the presentation at the exhibition of the miracle-working myrrh-colored icon of Tsar-Martyr Nicholas II accompanied by Alexander Fedorovich Chernavsky - publicist, head of the Russian Orthodox Mission for the Revival of Spiritual Values of the Russian People. The icon has visited more than 50 dioceses, dozens of countries around the world and for the first time in Zarechny and in the municipal museum, which became the Museum and Exhibition Center of the city.

With a touching welcoming speech at the closing ceremony were Alexander Fedorovich Chernavsky, priest Victor Storozhev, rector of the Church of the Holy Royal Passion-Bearers ( Penza. Penza) Archpriest Vasily Kochetkov, representative of the Nina Ivanovna Balashova of the Penza Branch of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society.

At the solemn event, the director of the Museum and Exhibition Center presented the guests of honor with memorable gifts - photos of the Royal Family, as well as letters of thanks to the co-participants in the preparation and holding of the exhibition.

The pupils of the Sunday school "Pelican" of the Resurrection prayer house of Zarechny presented to all present in the exhibition hall the texts of letters of the Royal family in envelopes decorated with white daisy.


The guests of the exhibition were able to reverently lay their hands on the myrotochic icon of the Holy Sovereign.
