On November 19, 2024, a working meeting was held in Moscow between Chairman of the Synodal Department for Youth Affairs Bishop Seraphim of Istra and Priest Anthony Kosykh, Vice-Chairman of the Synodal Missionary Department. The main topic of discussion was the issues of interaction and development of joint missionary and educational activities among students.

The parties exchanged views on current challenges and prospects in the field of work with young people. Special attention was paid to the possibilities of strengthening spiritual and moral values among students, as well as the involvement of young people in the active life of the Church.
Priest Anthony Kosykh emphasized the importance of missionary work among the younger generation and noted that cooperation with the Youth Department opens new horizons for this work.
Bishop Seraphim of Istra noted that young people are the future of the Church and it is important to support their interest in spiritual development through modern and accessible formats.
