On May 27, 2024, Memorial Day, the Orthodox Church in America Tikhonov Monastery celebrated the 120th anniversary of the monastery's foundation.
At the invitation of Blessed Metropolitan Tikhon of All America and Canada and with the blessing of Patriarchal Parishes in the United States Bishop Matthew of Sourozh, acting secretary of the Patriarchal Parishes in the United States, Hegumen Nikodim (Balyasnikov), and Priest Mark Rashkov, head of the chancery, took part in the celebrations.

The Divine Liturgy on this day was celebrated by His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon, accompanied by Archbishop Michael of New York and New Jersey, Archimandrite Sergius (Boyer), rector of the Tikhonov Monastery, Archimandrite Sergius (Boyer), dean of St. Tikhon's Monastery, Archpriest John Parker, dean of St. Tikhon's Theological Seminary, Priest Alessandro Margheritino, secretary of His Beatitude's Office, and the clergy of the Orthodox Church in America.
At the end of the service, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon met with representatives of the administration of the Patriarchal parishes in the United States and the head of the Chancery of the Orthodox Church in America. In the course of this communication, an agreement was reached to establish a bilateral working group to prepare and hold commemorative events in 2025 to mark the 100th anniversary of the repose of Saint Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, and the 55th anniversary of the Russian Orthodox Church's granting of the Tomos of Autocephaly to the Orthodox Church in America.
The draft plan of events for the jubilee year will be reviewed and approved in the near future during a personal meeting between His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon, Metropolitan of All America and Canada, and the interim administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the United States.
