The Belarusian Orthodox Church announces a competition among graduate qualification works of masters and bachelors of higher spiritual and secular educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus for the award of the prize named after Metropolitan Filaret (Vakhromeev), the first Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus.
The competition is held in the following areas:
- «Theological Sciences»,
- «Humanities»,
- «Arts».
The content of the research should reveal various aspects of the Orthodox tradition in theological, cultural, historical, literary, art and other spheres.

The competition is open to independently completed graduate qualification works of bachelors and masters of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus, who defended their graduate qualification work in the current year. The winners of the contest are awarded the title of laureate. The best works that took part in the contest can also be referred to the first and second categories.
To participate in the contest you should send to the address of the organizing committee:
- application form (in WORD and PDF format with signatures), which is available for downloading here;
- submission of the supervisor, certified by the educational institution he/she represents (PDF with signatures);
- decision of the specialized department of the higher education institution to send the student to participate in the competition (in PDF format with signatures);
- the student's scientific work, formalized in accordance with the established requirements (in PDF format with signatures).
Applications for participation in the competition will be accepted until November 1, 2024.
