
“We have decided that the law will not be violated, churches will not be closed, and social distance will be observed in order to take care of the health and lives of our citizens,” said Irakli Chikovani, spokesman for the head of the Georgian government.
Other measures will be taken to save from possible infection. In particular, near the churches, where lay believers will come on Easter night, police officers will be on duty, who will monitor the observance of the instructions of the Ministry of Health of the country.
