In the rural church of Transbaikalia, the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos was pacified

On August 15, in the church of the holy apostles Peter and Paul in the Trans-Baikal village of Krasny Chikoy, an icon of the Most Holy Theotokos began to stream myrrh. The myrrh-streaming was noticed immediately after the baptism ceremony performed in the church, when the parish clergy were going to perform a service in the village of Arkhangelskoye, where the believers had already gathered for common prayer.

The rector of the St. Peter and Paul Church, Archpriest Igor Khovansky, says that this icon of the Mother of God has already streamed myrrh twice before. Most often on the icons of the Queen of Heaven, the rector says, the holy myrrh appears either on the shoulder or on the forehead of the Most Pure One. The believers in the village took this incident as mercy and consolation from the Most Holy Theotokos: over the past six months, six parishioners of the church have gone to the Lord God.
“We believe that this is how the Mother of God comforts us and reminds us that we are not alone, that she is with us. We perceive this as grace, ”says the rector of the village church.
The church of the holy apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Krasny Chikoy is located in the restored church of the former cinema. The money for the restoration and decoration of the temple, the installation of domes and bells on it, were collected by the believers of the village, the missing amount allocated by the local administration.
