In Cheboksary, a children's book of biblical stories was published in two languages at once - Russian and Chuvash. Her presentation took place at the Chuvash State Art Museum in the capital of the republic. According to the regional news portal Grani, the publication Biblical Stories. Bibli kalavsem ”was prepared for publication with the blessing of His Eminence Barnabas, Metropolitan of Cheboksary and Chuvash, Chuvash book publishing house in cooperation with the Cheboksary-Chuvash diocese and the Russian Bible Society.

The children's collection includes stories from the Old and New Testaments, adapted for children by Anna Tverdovskaya. The book was translated into the Chuvash language by Eva Lisina. Plots from Holy Scripture are presented in a language understandable for children; the book is superbly illustrated. It, among other things, contains the main Christian prayers and brief information about the shrines of Chuvashia.

Bishop Ignatius of Mariinsko-Posad, vicar of the Cheboksary diocese and representative of the Russian Bible Society Tatyana Vavilova, who came to the presentation, gave a high assessment to the book novelty. The Minister of Digital Development, Information Policy and Mass Communications of the Chuvash Republic Mikhail Anisimov expressed the hope that the biblical stories for children in two languages 'will become a reference book not only for the younger generation, but also for many adults.'

IN completion of the presentation the first copies of the book “Bible Stories. Bibli kalavsem ”were handed over to representatives of parish Sunday schools and employees of social service organizations of the Chuvash Republic.
