In the old Vvedensky church of the village of Solodniki, Chernoyarsk region, in the north of the Astrakhan region, eighteen icons are streaming myrrh. The first of the holy images began to exude myrrh on August 5 last year. Since then, pilgrims from all over the region and from outside of it began to come to the village temple to venerate the myrrh-streaming icons, which over time became more and more. According to the news portal 'South Wave', the other day, the acting governor of the Astrakhan region, Sergei Morozov, visited the church of the village of Solodniki, who was personally convinced of the truth of the Christian miracle. The head of the region noted that he saw something like this for the first time. In the near future, the miro from the icons will be taken for examination in order to find out its chemical composition. The Temple of the Entry into the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos in Solodniki will celebrate its 120th anniversary this year. During the godless era, the building was used as a warehouse for grain. About five years ago, through the efforts of the local benefactor Yuri Smolyakov, the building of the church and its interior were restored; today here, as well as more than a century ago, a full year round of services is again performed.
