In Novorossiysk, the construction of a lighthouse temple in the name of Saints Peter and Fevronia is nearing completion

In the hero-city on the Black Sea, the process of building a lighthouse temple in the name of the saints Peter and Fevronia of the Murom miracle workers is close to completion. The unique temple is located at the intersection of the Admiral Serebryakov embankment and Chernyakhovsky alley.

- By the middle of summer 2019, it is planned to complete all construction work on the construction of a lighthouse temple in honor of Saints Peter and Fevronya of Murom. It is planned to start holding services in the new church from this time. The interior painting will be gradually carried out in the course of the next one, ”Priest Vitaly Taashev, the rector of the temple under construction, told the Novaya Kuban correspondent. In the case of the new temple, the lighthouse is by no means a decorative function. The building will be equipped with all necessary navigation equipment and will significantly improve coordination in Gelendzhik and Novorossiysk bays. Construction has been agreed with the Ministry of Defense at a point whose coordinates will appear on all maps. But, of course, besides the practical, there is another meaning here, a spiritual one. Indeed, in fact, any temple is a beacon that calls out to believers and helps them not to get lost in a world full of passions. Although so far in the building under construction only from time to time prayers are performed, local residents and guests of Novorossiysk are happy to take pictures of the still unfinished lighthouse temple on the seashore, in order to post their pictures on social networks.
