In Krasnodar, the sacrament of baptism was performed baptism in English

In the Kuban capital, in the church of the Archangel of God Michael, the sacrament of baptism was performed in English. The baptized one - a citizen of Nigeria named Solomon - does not yet speak Russian, which explains the choice of the language of the liturgical order, which is unusual for Russia. As 'Zhivaya Kuban' reports with reference to the press service of the Kuban Metropolitanate, Solomon had been preparing for holy baptism for several months: he taught the Symbol of Faith and other important Christian prayers, watched videos of the sermons of Metropolitan Anthony of Surozh, held public talks. All this, of course, is in English - the only language that Solomon speaks besides his native African dialect. After completing the training course, he was baptized in the Archangel Michael Church in Krasnodar. The sacrament of baptism, with the blessing of Metropolitan Isidor of Yekaterinodar and Kuban, was performed in English by Priest Yevgeny Ignatov; he was co-served by Priest Andrei Kretov and Deacon Raphael da Conceicao. As Solomon himself said, in his homeland he attended the Nigerian Church of the Cherubim and Seraphim, although he was not baptized. Arriving in Russia, he settled in Krasnodar - and one Sunday morning he clearly understood that he needed to go to church. So he ended up in the Panteleimon church, where he understood the need to be baptized. Now Solomon goes to services, learns Russian and prepares for the first communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ in his life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGZGOjNXZ-M&feature=youtu.be
