In the city of Mostiska, Lviv region, in the temple of St. Amphilochius of Pochaev, a list of the Tikhvin Tear Icon of the Mother of God is streaming myrrh. As RIA Novosti clarifies, the outflow of the holy world began on July 9, on the day of remembrance of this revered image. And it continues to this day. With the blessing of the ruling bishop, Archbishop Filaret of Lvov and Galicia, the rector of the church in which the miracle of myrrh-streaming appeared, Archpriest Nikolai and the community served a prayer service with an akathist in front of the icon. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church is going through difficult times. The abbot and parishioners of the temple watch the myrrh streaming every day and pray that the Lord would reveal to them the meaning of what is happening. The holy image is an exact copy of the miraculous icon of the Tikhvin Lviv Teardrop, which resides in the St. George Cathedral in the city of Lviv.
