The construction site of one of the five churches that are planned to be restored on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin will be changed in connection with new archaeological finds made there - or the implementation of the project in the same place will be postponed in time, the information portal 'In the city of N' reports. In this regard, an application already filed by the diocese for the construction of a church in this place was withdrawn during a meeting of the Council on Land and Property Relations. “Excavations are underway in the Kremlin, and they are quite effective. We will wait for their results ”, - commented on the decision of the Council, Minister of Property and Land Relations of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Sergei Barinov. Recall that the Nizhny Novgorod Metropolitanate intends to restore all five churches that were on the territory of the Kremlin before the beginning of the Soviet era - this was announced at a press conference held on June 22 in the capital of the Volga region, Metropolitan of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas Georgy.
