On January 31, at the Transfiguration Cathedral in Khabarovsk, classes will begin in the 'Mom's School', according to the city portal 'Open City'. Within the framework of this project, specialists from different professions will help women prepare for childbirth, teach them how to care for babies, and provide the necessary knowledge regarding the upbringing and initial training of boys and girls in the first years of their life. Special gymnastics for pregnant women, legal advice on maternity benefits - all this is also included in the program. And classes will open with a general meeting of all students of the 'school', which will take place on the last day of January at 18:30 in the lower church of the cathedral. “Within the framework of the school, you can also talk to a clergyman and get advice from other doctors: pediatrician, dermatologist, gynecologist, neurologist,” says one of the organizers and teachers of the “Mom's School” pediatrician Alyona Glazunova. 'Mom's School' is an educational project, while classes here will be held in a free, informal form of conversation or joint activity. For students of the school, even photo sessions are provided, in which any of the women can take part.
