The clergy of the Peter and Paul Cathedral and the Cathedral Mosque of the city of Novotroitsk, Orenburg Region, agreed on a joint educational campaign, during which everyone can learn more about the two traditional religions in Russia.
According to the main information portal of Novotroitsk NTSK.ru, on Sunday, January 20, the mosque and the temple will be ready to answer all the questions of interest. In the Peter and Paul Cathedral, this will be done by the rector, Archpriest Sergei Kvasha, and in the Cathedral Mosque - by Imam Assadullo Saidsharifovich. The doors of the cathedral for those who come on the excursion will be open from 11 am, immediately after the end of the Divine Liturgy, and until 5 pm, the mosque - from 10 am to 5 pm. “The event will be held to familiarize residents with ethno-confessional diversity and as part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Council for Interaction with Religious Associations under the Governor of the Orenburg Region,” the Novotroitsk administration commented on the action.
