The first free bus tour of the city's temples was held in Astrakhan, in which eighteen people took part. According to Yuzhnaya Volna, the route of the excursion started from the Astrakhan Kremlin and was calculated for two hours. During this time, the excursion participants visited the Cathedral of the Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, the Red (Kyzyl) Mosque, the Armenian Church, the Annunciation Novodevichy Monastery, the Roman Catholic Church and the synagogue.
The initiator of the project, which started this summer, was the Ministry of Culture of the Astrakhan region together with the regional tourist community. Two more such trips will take place in July and August, both by appointment, as the number of seats in the excursion minibus is limited. In the future, the schedule of excursions to the shrines of Astrakhan will depend on the interest of citizens and guests to travel in this format.
