Unique Christian shrines have been transferred from Jerusalem to the geographical center of Russia, KrasnoyarskMedia reports.
Among the revered relics - part of the maternity shroud of the Infant Jesus Christ, the relics of the holy forefathers Joachim and Anna, the parents of the Ever-Virgin Mary, a fragment of the vestment of the Most Holy Theotokos, which was on Her on the night of Christmas, the relics of the innocently slain babies of Bethlehem, exterminated by order of King Herod, and others shrines - in total in the ark, which arrived from the Holy Land, there are ten of them. The relics, which arrived from the places where the earthly life of the Lord Jesus Christ proceeded, were brought to the Krasnoyarsk temple of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia, where they will be permanently located. Krasnoyarsk residents and guests of the city can venerate the relics, open daily for worship of believers, at the address: Akademgorodok Street, 50 G.
