Two unpleasant shooting incidents at once occurred with a small gap in time in the US state of Texas. Fortunately, in one of them, which happened on November 7 on the territory of a Christian university, there were no casualties. Two drivers quarreled on the road, one of whom was driving a university bus, confined themselves to a sparrow shootout. And the students disrupted for this reason from classes cannot be called an injured party even in a nightmare. But a week earlier, 26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelly, who, like many men, has a dislike for his own mother-in-law, did not find a better way to solve family problems, other than to shoot her and 26 other parishioners during a service at the Swaserland Springs Baptist Church. It should be noted that Devin himself is an atheist. In addition, it is known that while serving in the US Air Force in 2010, he was convicted by a military tribunal for abuse of his wife and child. Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia expressed his condolences to US President Donald Trump in connection with the tragedy in the Baptist Church in Texas. As stated in the report of Interfax-Religion, the primate of the Russian Church noted that “this terrible atrocity committed on the holy day for Christians and which took dozens of lives of innocent people, including defenseless old people, women and children, amazes with its devilish cruelty and treachery '.
