Pope Francis spoke out in favor of psychiatric treatment of children with a tendency to homosexuality. According to the portal Germania.one, such words were made during a press conference, which took place right on the plane on which the Pope was returning from a two-day trip to Ireland. The pontiff noted that modern psychiatry is armed with methods that can give amazing results - especially if treatment is started at an early age. When asked about the advice he could give the parents of such children, the head of the Roman Catholic Church replied: 'Pray, do not condemn, do no harm, try to understand your miracle and give him the opportunity to get married.' Silencing such a problem is not a solution, but a dead end. Ignoring the homosexual tendencies of children, according to the Pope, is evidence of insufficient parental love. Recall that the position of the current head of the Roman Catholic Church in relation to people with sexual deviations looks ambiguous. On the one hand, Pope Francis speaks out against the persecution of homosexuals, on the other, he is categorically against same-sex marriage.
