At the courtyard of St. Tabitha in the city of Jaffa, a prayer was served for the health of medical workers and volunteers fighting the spread of coronavirus infection. According to the Synodal Department for Church Relations with Society and Mass Media of the Russian Orthodox Church, the common prayer took place as part of the #Prayer Doctors' campaign conducted by Thomas magazine.
On May 16, the editorial office of the magazine turned to the rector of the parish in Jaffa, Archpriest Igor Pchelintsev, with a request for a prayer service. During the prayer service, the names of people recorded on thirty pages were sounded: they all belong to people who are at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus.
