Kvartirnik - a kind of chamber rock concert for a small number of listeners - will be held on the evening of January 12 at the parish of the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Joy of All Who Sorrow' in Blagoveshchensk. According to the Far East news agency Port Amur, the apartment house called Walking on the Water will take place at 6 pm in the parish refectory and will be dedicated to the biblical footprint in rock poetry.
“The atmosphere of Christmas Yuletide was very close to the“ nomadic apartment house ”. The 'wandering star' of the Magi led us to the doors of the temple of the icon of the Mother of God 'Joy of All Who Sorrow'. This is the only Orthodox church in Blagoveshchensk that has survived from pre-revolutionary times. Leaders and members of well-known Amur groups will take part in the apartment building. Songs with the biblical code and music for the soul will be accentuated in their repertoire, ”says one of the organizers and participants of the project, poet, musician, philologist Yevgeny Eremin (Skvoznyak group).
Other well-known Annunciation musicians will also take part in the rock concert - Alexander Khudeev (Heart Block), Evgenia Nifontova (Little Mahogany) and Ekaterina Shinkevich (KB Revolution). A literary department is also planned, where they will talk about Chekhov, minimalism and Russian haiku, as well as read poetry. The apartment building will end with the performance of the winner of the championship on reading aloud 'Open your mouth' by Irina Pestereva, who will read the mono novel-diary 'Leaves of Snow'.
The entrance to the apartment building is free for all comers; however, each of the guests can voluntarily donate to charity.
