Along the Altai Territory, from Barnaul to the Ust-Pristanskiy District, there is a prayer procession to the main local revered shrine - the list of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, which is located in the monastery in the village of Korobeinikovo. Together with the inhabitants of Altai, believers from different regions of Russia take part in the procession of the cross - more than a thousand people in total. It is not the first time that many of the pilgrims follow this route.
Starting on Sunday from the Intercession Cathedral in the capital of the region, the procession follows the roads, accompanied by traffic police vehicles. Deacon Konstantin Filatov is in charge of the procession. In just a week, which continues with the procession, its participants will have to cover 250 kilometers on foot and reach the Mother of God-Kazan Monastery.
