According to the Old Believers' portal 'Ruskaya Vara', on the official website of the Arbitration Court of the Krasnodar Territory, the ruling of judge N.А. Ermolova on the acceptance for consideration of the claim of the administration of the municipal formation of the city of Krasnodar against the local religious organization. The essence of the statement of claim is the requirement to demolish the 'non-residential building of cult purpose' in the Kuban capital, namely, the Old Believers' church at 326 Fadeeva Street. Note that the building is located on a site belonging to the local Old Believer community on the basis of private property rights. During a preliminary hearing on 14 June, a building under construction was seized. The next hearing on the case is scheduled for August 15. For eight years the Old Believers of Krasnodar have been trying to obtain a plot for the construction of a temple - and, finally, four years ago they acquired it with the help of benefactors. A temporary prayer room was erected on the site, which in 2014, on the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, was consecrated by the rector of the local community of the RPSC Priest John Sevastyanov and Archpriest John Rybakov. Now the authorities of Krasnodar are seeking the demolition of the building in court as an allegedly unauthorized construction.
