Foul language is the scourge of Russian reality, and, perhaps, one of the spheres of human activity, especially those infected with this spiritual ailment, is construction. But what if they are building a temple, each stone of which must be laid with prayer, and not with a swear word? Metropolitan Mark of Ryazan and Mikhailovsky, chairman of the financial and economic administration of the Russian Orthodox Church, is convinced that the people who are building the church should not use foul language, drink alcohol and smoke. And the clergy should monitor the decorous behavior of the builders. Vladyka Mark's opinion on this matter is reported by Rambler. “Workers often do not understand that cubic meters of concrete, cubic meters of bricks — for them, is an entertainment complex, a shop, or a temple. It is necessary to teach, to say that the temple is something completely different. So let us, please, carry out explanatory work. Because if the church is built with swearing, smoking and drinking, then, naturally, it will not be built well, ”said Metropolitan Mark. The ideal, the head of the financial and economic department of the Russian Orthodox Church, would be a situation in which the employees of the contractor company that builds the temple would be Orthodox people. Then the whole construction process would be completely transparent.
