Bishop Vikenty of Zdatoust and Satka arrived at the temple of the city of Katav-Ivanovsk, Chelyabinsk region, not far from which was the center of the earthquake that occurred in the Urals, who brought with him a particle of the Holy Life-giving Cross of the Lord.

Anyway, on September 5, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 occurred on the territory of the Chelyabinsk region; tremors were felt even in the neighboring Sverdlovsk region and the Republic of Bashkortostan. Scientists call the formation of rocks as a possible cause of the earthquake. Seismologists assure that the Katav-Ivanovsky region is no longer threatened with an earthquake. “Thank God, none of the people were hurt.
