If residents of Russian capital cities periodically have the opportunity to join world-famous Christian shrines, then believers from the regions do not always have such an opportunity. Therefore, the appearance in the Chelyabinsk Church of the Jerusalem Icon of the Mother of God of a particle of the relics of one of the most revered saints of God in Russia - St. Nicholas the Wonderworker - became a significant event in the spiritual life of the entire Urals. The Part of the Relics, which resides in the house church of the Chelyabinsk College of Law, is one of the largest in Russia. Here, in the church of the “Jerusalem” icon of the Mother of God, she will now be permanently. Prayers with an akathist are served daily at the revered shrine. The Chelyabinsk Church of the Jerusalem Icon of the Mother of God was consecrated in 2012. Under the marble floor, the pieces of the holy land from Jerusalem laid down during the construction are kept here. There are many locally revered shrines in the temple - unique icons from Jerusalem, Pochaev and the holy Mount Athos.
