On the air of the Russia 24 TV channel, the head of the department of external relations of the Russian Orthodox Church, Metropolitan Hilarion, said that sex change operations are a crime against God. And in particular - those of them that relate to adolescents, the Metropolitan specified. In the rage of countries, children are taught that there is supposedly a biological gender with which they are born - and a gender that can be chosen. For such actions, parents and adults in general, according to Metropolitan Hilarion, should be held liable up to criminal punishment. After all, a child must first grow up - and then decide for himself how to live on. In any case, Vladyka Hilarion noted, the Church does not recognize the very possibility of changing sex. This means, he explained, that a man who has even changed his sex and after wishing to be baptized will be baptized in the church just as a man.
