Kindergarten pupils went on an excursion to the temple

In the working village of Kovernino, Nizhny Novgorod region, at the parish of the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, an excursion was held for the pupils of the preparatory group of the Ryabinka kindergarten. Boys and girls who came to the church with their educators were greeted by the parish rector, Priest Pavel Larin. He told the children about the main distinctive features of Orthodox churches, and also explained the meaning of the main Christian symbols in a language accessible to children.

Father Pavel invited the children together with their parents to the folk art festival 'Through Her the World Will Be Saved', which is held in the Gorodets Diocese, and also handed each of those who came a booklet 'Children about the Nativity of the Mother of God and about beloved mothers.'
