According to the Samara TV and Radio Company 'Gubernia', the local Orthodox community appealed to the city authorities with a request to allocate land for the construction of the church. The construction, which is planned to be built on the left bank of the Volga River, on Lieutenant Schmidt Street, will be grand in its size: it is assumed that the temple will be located on an area of 3,710 square meters. According to the cadastral register, the legal status of the site, the allocation of which is requested by a public religious organization, falls under several categories at once: both as land of settlements, and as a territory for the placement of cultural and domestic buildings, and as a site suitable for the territory of an object 'associated with the departure cult '. It is assumed that on the territory about which there is a dialogue between believers and the authorities, a temple will be built in the name of St. Mitrofan of Voronezh.
