The capital of Russia may become the first city in the country where the municipality and the church are testing the practices of helping homeless people with HIV infection. According to the magazine 'Thomas' with reference to the Synodal Department 
- We are preparing job offers for social services, and for medical, and for many other departments. It is planned that Moscow will become a pilot city in which different practices of helping homeless people, including HIV-infected people, will be worked out, ”said Irina Meshkova, head of the homeless aid department of the Synodal Charity Department of the Russian Orthodox Church, during a meeting with representatives of the Church, NGOs and the state.
