The miraculous Pryazhevskaya icon of the Mother of God was brought to Kursk

With the blessing of Herman, Metropolitan of Kursk and Rylsk, from October 12 to December 15, the venerated icon of the Most Holy Theotokos 'Pryazhevskaya' will stay in the churches of Kursk, known by many for his prayers, healings and cases of miraculous help.

Until October 16, the venerated icon will be in the main church of the metropolis - the Cathedral of the Sign. Then the icon will visit twenty-six more city churches, so that believers living in different parts of the city, as well as pilgrims from other settlements of the region, can partake of it. In front of the miraculous icon, prayers will be served daily with the reading of the akathist.

In Kursk, the Pryazhevskaya icon of the Queen of Heaven arrived from the Gornalsk St. Nicholas Belogorsk Monastery. Before the venerated image, believers pray for the healing of diseases of the legs, spine, female diseases, infertility, before childbirth, as well as for the resolution of everyday troubles.
